The situation
Consol Group is an accounting practice that handles bookkeeping and tax work, and also trains clients to run Xero themselves. The legacy site was not mobile-friendly and, more importantly, drew no line between the work you hand over and the work you learn to do — leaving visitors unsure where one ended and the other began.
What we did
We restructured the site around that split, giving the done-for-you services and the Xero training their own space and scope. Copy was rewritten in plain language so an owner with no accounting background could still judge what they needed, and a CMS was connected so staff can update service details and notices themselves.
What changed
Visitors can now tell the outsourced services and the Xero training apart from the site alone, and content changes are handled in-house.
